Move your site without losing your place on Google*

I move your current site to hosting managed by us, with the addresses, the email and the redirects handled, so neither Google nor your clients notice the move.

What is included

  • A full copy of the site, the database and the current content
  • The site set up and tested on the new hosting before the domain moves
  • 301 redirects from every old address to the new one, one by one
  • A planned DNS change, with the propagation time shortened before the switch
  • An SSL certificate issued and renewing itself on the new hosting
  • Domain mailboxes moved, with mail.<your domain> working on the phone and in Outlook
  • A new sitemap submitted to Google and Search Console pointing at the right site
  • A final check of pages, forms, links and images on the new hosting

Who it is for

  • Anyone paying a lot for slow hosting with support that takes days to answer
  • Anyone who wants out of a closed platform and wants to take the site with them
  • Anyone whose site sits on a server belonging to someone no longer around
  • Anyone afraid of losing Google rankings and email when moving

What you get at the end

  • A copy of the site as it was before the move, kept aside
  • The redirect map: old address to new address
  • The new access details in your name: SFTP, database and panel
  • The final check report, with what was tested
  • The domain and the DNS in your name, never in ours

How it works

  1. Review of the current site

I look at what is there: pages, database, forms, mailboxes, domain and what Google already knows.

  2. Quote and a time slot

You get the migration plan with a fixed price and an agreed time for the switch, usually outside your busiest hours.

  3. Migration and testing

The site is copied to the new hosting and tested there while the domain still points at the old one.

  4. Switch and verification

The domain moves, the certificate goes live and I check pages, forms, email and redirects.

Frequently asked questions

Will I lose Google rankings?

The goal is not to: every old address is redirected to the new one and the new sitemap is submitted to Google. Small swings in the first days are normal.

Will the site be down during the move?

The move is prepared with the new site already built and tested on the new hosting. During the switch the site answers from both sides, so visitors do not hit a dead site.

What about my domain email?

It comes along. Mailboxes are created on the new server, the content is copied and you connect to mail.<your domain>, which is inside the certificate. This is sorted before the MX changes, so no mail is lost.

Which kinds of site can be migrated?

WordPress, static sites (Astro) and Next.js applications. If it is a closed platform that will not let the content out, I tell you that in the review, before there is a quote.

When can I cancel the old hosting?

Only after the new site answers, email arrives and the checks are done. I suggest waiting a few more days, so there is always somewhere to go back to.
